The Ravenna brew team is proud to release this special-edition blended sour; a project years in the making. We selected our favorite candidates from our cellar of oak foeder and wine barrel fermented saisons and sour ales, and blended these components at varying ratios until we achieved our vision of a complex, funky, tart, sour ale. This blend was then re-fermented on mango and blackberry purée. The fruity tartness is thoughtfully balanced, complemented by a layered backdrop of farmhouse funk, oak, and jammy wine barrel character. Midnight Duel pours a lovely shade of ruby, with medium-high carbonation that accentuates the dry finish. We hope you enjoy this unique and painstakingly crafted ale.
