A convoy of southern hemisphere hops yields a lively and engaging tropical nature. Aromas and flavors of guava, papaya, and unripe pineapple converge, underscored by soft and citrusy notes. A subtle herbaceous quality emerges on the finish. Malted and flaked oats provide a cushy backdrop to the hop showcase. Medium-bodied with low bitterness.

The Whags are a band that first and foremost strives to build community through music. Since their start in 2017 the group has gathered around them a genial show family and provided a musical tether for Seattle and beyond. The music draws from swirly jam bands of yesteryear as much as it does modern Americana and groove. In the spirit of collaboration that the band champions, they’ve teamed up with Ravenna Brewing on their latest Hazy IPA: Liquid Light. Named after the light art popularized by bands like the Grateful Dead, Liquid Light is a crossover of psychedelic proportions.
