Off Road Shakespeare Company will be performing in The Conservatory a whimsically rendered production of Charles Dicken’s beloved ghost story A Christmas Carol.
A story about haunting the rich, reckoning with your past, and recognizing our responsibilities to one another - this Carol will be performed in rooms without stages, with the lights on, live music, and in the middle of a square of chairs. This is theatre up close; intimate, immediate, imaginative, and free for all!
Featuring: Charissa J. Adams, Kieran Adcock-Starr, Corey Lynn Atencio, Sharon Barto Gouran, Mimi Santos, and Maile Wong. Stage managed by Haley Thomas
Approximately 65 - 75 minutes in length
Delightful and Free for all ages
Off Road Shakespeare is a troupe of artists, activists, and clowns that perform plays for audiences in transitional housing spaces, shelters, recovery spaces, social service sites, community gathering spaces, and public libraries throughout Seattle and the surrounding area. We offer our work for free, for audiences that usually don't get invited, and in rooms and spaces where plays don't usually happen. We believe that everyone deserves ‘bread and roses’ - our essential needs met and a bit of beauty - in our everyday.
